Pagliari.
I’m a Senior Software Engineer and hands-on Tech Lead at Somos Educação / Cogna. I design, build, and operate assessment and reporting backends across AWS, event-driven processing, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse. I apply AI to engineering investigation, documentation, and learning, and work on LLM-enabled backend capabilities.

Answer sheet generation at scale
Asynchronous document generation, bounded work, and recoverable batches.

Separating transactional and analytical concerns while keeping freshness and cost explicit.

Before education technology, I founded a company building industrial ERP software, worked on manufacturing integrations, and contributed to medical imaging systems. That experience still shapes how I approach domain complexity and long-lived software.
Backend Study Lab
Practice architecture decisions with evidence, competing hypotheses, and a review rubric.
A runnable demonstration with synthetic backend scenarios. The browser version runs locally without an API key. Downloadable source includes a model-adapter contract and evaluation suite.

What a PDF generation pipeline taught me about batch processing
Bounded work, status models, retries, and why the last 1% of a batch often needs the most attention.

I’m a senior software engineer who still writes code while leading backend architecture and mentoring teams. My experience spans industrial software, system integration, and large-scale education platforms.
At Cogna / Somos Educação, I lead technical work for assessment and reporting squads on platforms serving more than three million students. I work primarily with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, AWS, PostgreSQL, SQS, RabbitMQ, Redis, and ClickHouse. I care about throughput, failure modes, observability, maintainability, and cost.
I apply AI to my own development process and work on LLM-enabled backend capabilities. I’m especially interested in agents, evaluation, tool boundaries, and the architecture needed to make AI systems dependable. I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a postgraduate degree in web, cloud, and mobile development.
Project descriptions are deliberately high level and exclude internal implementation details.
